A Lesson in a Day

I was doing some thinking for myself and i came back to the thought that i had a few years ago. Why do people say they feel bored?

Why do we feel bored when we have Jesus who says to give us life and life abundantly? In fact we Christians should enjoy life to the full, because Jesus is our life. And in Him there is fullness of joy!

Therefore i'm about to take a big risk in my life : "Never to say or feel bored."

Because Jesus is the source of life who gives life abundantly and in Him there is fullness of joy!

European Delight

The wait is finally over. We all now know who the King of European football is. It was a night of remembrance for The Rossoneri as they killed off Liverpool's European dream by giving them a tasty 2-1 defeat.

Rossoneri has been always the team that i admired. Although i support Chelsea now because of Shevchenko (hope he goes back to Milan so i can safely support Milan, LoL). Rossoneri, although quite aged in years, with many players over 30 years of age, but they still play really good football. With flair and great vision, plus their technical ability and years of footall experience, they can certainly triumph at any stage of football.

I saw this in Soccernet, "At the end Kaka slumped to his knees in the centre circle and prayed to the heavens while Inzaghi was enveloped in a sea of white shirts." Now that's a faith that is worth commending. Kaka has been a strong Protestant since young. With great faith and moral stature, he sets a good example of a Christian sportsman. He lifts both his hands up to heaven and give God the praise everytime he scores a goal. While giving glory back to God after winning the Champions League, in front of approximately 90,000 people, will certainly let them know that in Christ we can have victory!

Bravo Chelsea

Hail the FA Champions! It was really a satisfying match. Not just because Chelsea beat Manchester United, but seeing Chelsea played their game well was already comforting. Becoming the first winner at the New Wembley was fantastic.

Well i don't have much thoughts on this, so i'll just end it by saying, Bravo Chelsea!

My Contemporary Thought : Psalm 1

Psalm 1 :

1 - Favour is upon him who does not follow what the wicked says, or make himself a green light to the works of sinners, or say to mockers: we're a family!

2 - But he holds tight to the safety jacket while swimming, and wouldn't want to let go even if he spends the whole day and night in the sea.

3 - He will be like living in his dreams, where he does not need to worry about survival, food, or shelter. Everything he touches turns to gold.

4 - But the wicked are like the dust, which people blow and wipe away.

5 - Saddam Hussein, though he was rich and powerful, but in the end he had nothing.

6 - While Billy Graham, God gave him a life that was influential and impactful not only to the kingdom of God, but also to people in the world.

A Lesson in a Day

It has been happening since a long time. Even when i was very young it happened. And it still happens now.....

I was in a MetroBus, on my way home from KLCC. Man, that was one heck of a ride. A roller coaster bus ride. First, the driver drove as if he was blindfolded. Second, the driver drove as if he was deaf which he couldn't hear the honk! Third, it was as if there were no other passengers in the whole of Malaysia.

Recklessness is now becoming more famous among bus drivers. Their attitudes of driving are really a pain in the heart. Sitting in that kind of situation is really not a very good cup of tea. Although buses are big size, i know, but that doesn't make you the "tai ko" of the road. Please show some respect to other drivers.

On the other hand, everytime when buses reach a bus-stop, they always want to fight for passengers with other buses. They would even scold you when you don't get up their buses. That showed me one thing. Transportation businesses are now even more competitive. That's true. With so many more public infrastructure companies coming into this silly market, fighting for passengers is like fighting for a breath of life.

It's just so scary to me, being a person that wishes to succeed in the world of business. I repeat, WISHES. So the future is not for me to decide. But honestly, i feel afraid. Even the bus business is so competitive, imagine other markets.

It all doesn't matter, some trust in chariots and horses, but the name of the Lord is what i will trust if i were to go into the business world.

Endurance of Wait

Waiting, is a torture,
Period of waiting, is a torment.
But joy and gladness they both arise,
When what has been waiting for comes alive.

Hence, to wait or not to wait,
Or should we leave it to fate.
To endure the pain of time,
Which is as sour as a lime.

What drives us to wait?
A faith that believes in miracle,
A hope that sees the invisible,
A love that conquers the impossible.

A Mother's Love

A MOTHER'S LOVE

A Mother's love is something that no one can explain,

It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may.
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away,
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking .
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems .
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation .
A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand,
And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

~Helen Steiner Rice~

I can say proudly and confidently that my mother is one of the most precious gifts that God gave to me. Putting me into this family with a great mother like my mom is a joy and blessing that is beyond description.

My mom has done many things for me. Sacrificed even her own benefits for the sake of this silly child...me. But what can i say, besides God's love, no other love can compare to a mother's love. Putting me into the best education, bringing me up with tender loving care. It will take such a long list to contain the love and deeds that my mom gave to me. But above all deeds, one that i can never thank her enough is...disciplining me in the direction of God, bringing me up in the fear of God, and teaching me to trust in the love of God.

May God bless you mum. May God give you good health. May God enrich you in every possible way so that you may be doing greater things for the kingdom of God. May i, your only child, bring you much joy and happiness in life, as God continues to direct me in His righteous path.

I love you Mummy!
