Plan To Fail?

You always see this everywhere. "It's okay to plan to fail, but don't fail to plan"

To me, this statement is crap! Both are also not good. The former is a negative mentality, while the latter is totally a miserable loser.

To plan to fail, to me, means your planning is terrible. Nobody wants to come out with a plan that fails. If possible, everyone wants to plan something that is perfect, at least successful. You can't argue with that, even you too want a plan that is successful. If your plan is going to fail, you might as well don't plan. I think that kind of mentality is way too negative.

I'm actually a believer in negativity. To certain extent, we people should be a little negative over some issues or problems. The reason is, you need to prepare a plan B. Negativity keeps your guard up. If you're so positive about something, then IF it fails, you're gonna hit a wall directly without a helmet.

Being negative is okay, but not too negative. To me personally, always keep a 8:2 ratio of positivity vs negativity. We can't run away from being positive, everyone needs to be. However, just a little negativity can keep our guards up against failures if they occur, and go for a plan B.

So, "It's okay to plan with guards up, but don't fail to plan"

Dream and Dreamer

God-given dreams and passion will last long. God-given dreams and passion will not fade away, but will only grow stronger within us as time passes. Dreams from God are true dreams because they do not destroy us.

Satan is smart. He knows he can't destroy the dream that God has given us. Satan cannot take away those God-given dreams.

Satan is smart. Since he can't destroy the dream, he destroys the dreamer. Sins, iniquities, transgressions, depression, hurt, discouragement etc., are just a few ways that he can use to destroy us.

Do not allow satan to destroy the dream, neither allow him to destroy the dreamer.

Kick his butt off!!!

Recession Trend

I've been following a lot about the world economy these few days. Many news have been reporting of a coming recession this year or end of this decade.

There were sayings that it is seasonal and recession comes every 10 years. I'm sure many remember the 1997 recession that hit the world so badly. Don't forget there was also a recession in 1987 back then, and another slight recession in 1977.

So the trend is, recession comes every 10 years, or to be more accurate, comes every end of a decade.

This is what economists speculate. They seem very convincing. So let's wait and see whether it's true.

Overdo Something Good = Bad

Everything has good and bad. Although i'm not a Taoist, but i think what they believe in is true. You know the Taoism Yin-Yang thing?

Organizations these days strive to have competitive edge over one another. The most common way they do is customer service. Customers want good service, but beware of its pitfall if you overemphasize it.

I have this organization who calls me almost every single week to check if i'm doing okay. Sometimes few times a week. I know customer service is very important to them, but not to a point where i'm so fed up and frustrated at their random calls!

Customers want organizations to be reached whenever they want. But customers don't want organizations to bug them every single week. Therefore, what people think is good, like customer service, can turn out to be a bad thing if proper research or planning are not done properly.

I was so fed up and angry until i didn't want to pick up their calls anymore!! And was gonna beat the crap out of him if i see that guy again!

p/s: feel like scolding them and ask them to get away from me!! (Not wanting to use inappropriate words...LoL)

Leaders

Leadership is so important that, if you succeed, people look up to you. If you fail, people reject you.

Datuk Chua Jui Meng said to Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting "The people have rejected you, it was almost a total rejection. Please reconsider your decision not to step down"

Although there were a few people who still support Datuk Seri Ong, but what i'm trying to say is the perception that people have towards a leader. Whether party leader, corporate leader, or even a small group leader.

A failure of an organization is linked towards the leadership of the leader. That is the perception of people. To a certain extent, it relates to the leadership.

I respect the gentleman-ship of Dr. Koh Tsu Koon for taking the responsibility of the failure of the party by stepping down. Some will argue that it wasn't really his fault, but that's not my point. My point is the boldness and the courage to take responsibility by stepping down. This i respect him. Yes only this. I don't respect what he has done, he was just a puppet used by UMNO to do what they wanted.

Leaders are responsible when something fails. People love you if you succeed, and people despise you if you fail. Can't run away from that fact. Leadership takes courage. To a certain extent, leaders are born. Like i said, to a certain extent.

Our Voices Heard

Few surprises this time around.

Thought some veterans would continue their seats. While Dr. Koh could get support from the people. But...

NO !!!!

Perak gone, Selangor gone, Kedah gone, and Penang also gone! Kelantan no need to say lah, it's PAS' strong territory

Few more surprises, Datuk Seri Shahrizat lost to a new brat! I guess her father had a great influence on the decision.

While Datuk Seri S. Semi-Valued lost too. Well, since your birthday was on the election day (8 March), come we give you a great birthday present : no need to work!!! Best present he can ever get!

So i'm quite happy with the election, to a certain extent. The Barisan did not win 2/3 majority Parliament seats. Which means they can't make decisions on their own. Good! I'm happy about it. At least now they can't abuse they power that much, and hope the oppositions will help us control them a little.

However, there might be some developments being halted. But i don't mind Malaysia being slow a little bit for 4 or 5 years. At least now the federal government need to search themselves.

Hope the federal government will take this result and really examine themselves. Think man think! You're not as good as you think!

It's Near, Very Near

These days, GLC's like Tenaga Nasional and PLUS have been showing the developments of our country on tv. As if we don't know for what purpose. Our government has been using the media to promote all "good" things they have done for this nation. You'll see those advertisements if you watch tv some time.

I don't deny the fact that Barisan has really done a lot for this nation, i mean really a lot. Where would we be if it wasn't for Barisan? How could we enjoy the education we have now? I salute the efforts given by our government.

However, what i feel frustrated about is, where are the advertisements about our opposition? It's true they haven't done much for our nation, because they haven't been our government. But at least i expect some things to appear on tv. Where are they?

Have they been restricted by our government? Has our government abused the power of the media? Isn't that called unfairness?

I really think our opposition side in this nation isn't strong enough. Not strong enough to rule over our government. Take for example the candidate of DAP in Batu Gajah. She's just a young brat, with no experience, no qualification, no determination. What about Anwar's daughter? Still a fresh blood, who would vote for her?

I'm not against the opposition or anything. I would really love to see what great things they would do if they were elected government. But what i'm sad to see is that, there still isn't any conviction from the opposition that they can do a good job governing this country. Our opposition is too weak, and our government now is becoming stronger after all the "abuses".

Oh justice, where art thou? Let's hope that God would establish the government that is righteous in His sight. But i have no doubt that the Barisan would win. But i hope corrupted officers and selfish ministers would not be brought into the cabinet. Specifically Khairy Jamaluddin and Hishammuddin. May your wickedness be brought to an end by the power of God. Then you will know that there's no other God but Jehovah!!!
