The SAPP news have been on headlines these few days. This bunch of people have voiced their lack of confidence in the leadership of our dear(not) Prime Minister, which is also the BN head.
These people have lost their trust in the leadership of BN, but they did not lose trust in BN. It is clear that it's a leadership problem. Not the party.
But is our PM deaf? Or is he being stubborn and ego? Or...maybe his (idiotic) son-in-law keeps pressing him not the step down?
Nobody knows how our PM feels or thinks. Not even Najib. Politics in Malaysia has become worse. Everything is confidential. There is no transparency. Malaysian politics previously was already bad, but now it's worse. Transparency is not found in the Malaysian dictionary anymore.
But why is our PM not getting the message? People are losing trust in him. You too, are losing trust in him. But our PM has alot of self-confidence. He thinks he only needs to trust himself.
STEP DOWN!!
However, we can actually do a little bit of analysis of future Malaysian politics here. At current status, if our PM steps down, Najib is most likely to take the helm. Now, look further. If Najib steps down, who would take the helm of leadership? Many possibilities, such as Muhyiddin Yassin, Hishammuddin, or maybe the ever-hated Khairy. (Like i said from what we can see at current situation).
Evaluate yourself, are these men capable? Do you trust their character? Hishammuddin and Khairy are bad enough currently. Imagine if they are the Prime Ministers.
In the last days, the hearts of men will grow more evil. I do believe the leadership of Malaysia can go worse than before. This is the highest probability of direction that we are heading: WORSE.
Let's hope that God will raise people of caliber and integrity to lead Malaysia. He may not be Chinese nor Indian, but at least a man who is fair and just to all races.
P/S: Again, from the current point of view, Mukhriz Mahathir looks good for me. Maybe it's his father's stereotype in my mind. LOL

Fuel Price Hike Lesson
The fuel price hike has indeed taught me to be a better person. *WHAT*
I've learned to be more economical. I've learned not to waste. I've learned how to save more.
Previously i took for granted because i drive a diesel car. Although it doesn't consume as much as petrol, but the price was much cheaper than petrol. But now with the increase of RM 1 and just slightly RM 0.12 cheaper than petrol, i can't help but to save it.
Every bad thing can happen for a good reason. At least the fuel price hike has taught me something new, something that makes me better.
However, although i agree that the move to increase the fuel price is right, but i feel the timing is wrong. We're only a developing country. Our standard of living cannot match up to the cost of living now. Salaries are still considered quite low in Malaysia. Income per capita isn't that high either.
People are feeling the pain because some people can barely afford themselves, but the fuel price hike will add salt to their wound.
Like i said previously, it doesn't matter if fuel price had to be increased, but to the extent of RM 2.70 is too much.

Today Matters
You know, in life we always make alot of decisions. In a day we are stressed up because we make so many decisions, and sometimes these decisions don't help us.
Sometimes we create things to worry about. Sometimes we are stressed because we make decisions and think things that we shouldn't even think about. Some people always feel their days are miserable, and everyday is a bad day for them.
I was browsing through my uni's library shelves, and to my surprise there was a book written by John C. Maxwell. The book is called "Today Matters".
In that book, John described why many people do not succeed. The reason is people live their everyday lives in the wrong way. We sometimes bring pressure and stress upon ourselves, when we shouldn't even be worried about that.
He reshuffled our lives and came up with 12 things that we only have to decide in our entire lives. Only 12 things we need to think about, and he called it the Daily Dozen:
1) Attitude : Choose and display the right attitudes daily
2) Priorities : Determine and act on important priorities daily
3) Health : Know and follow healthy guidelines daily
4) Family : Communicate with and care for my family daily
5) Thinking : Practice and develop good thinking daily
6) Commitment : Make and keep proper commitments daily
7) Finances : Make and properly manage money daily
8) Faith : Deepen and live out my faith daily
9) Relationships : Initiate and invest in solid relationships daily
10) Generosity : Plan for and model generosity daily
11) Values : Embrace and practice good values daily
12) Growth : Seek and experience improvement daily
These are the only things that we should be thinking and doing. Our lives are categorized into these 12 categories. These are not the things that we should add to our worries. But these are just the defragmentation of life. Our lives should be reshuffled, and the outcome is the Daily Dozen.
Notice that the keyword in every category is DAILY. The reason is we can't do anything about yesterday, because it is gone. Neither can we do anything about tomorrow, because it has yet to come, and for some people their tomorrows may never come. So the rationale behind this is, today matters. Do your best today. Live out the full potential of today.
You might not get all those 12 in a day. You can divide it. Choose which categories that you lack most, and start initiating them first.
I love John C. Maxwell's books. They are great books that teach us how to live our lives right and proper. Success doesn't come in a flick of your finger. Success comes from what you did yesterday. So start today, and live your everyday with great purpose and determination. Success will be determined by what you do TODAY.

New Kid on the Board
Introducing new Chelsea manager, Luiz Felipe Scolari!
This former Brazillian national team coach has helped Brazil win many trophies. Currently managing Portugal, his team has been doing well also.
However....
He has no experience managing at club level. This is something i'm worried about. Managing country and club are two different things
But with the qualities that Scolari has, i'm positive he will do well for Chelsea Football Club!
Welcome the new Blues boss!!

Inflation
The government announced previously that our country's inflation rate is 3%.
I beg to differ!
Just take a simple example. Let's look at your daily wan tan mee price. Previously one plate of wan tan mee was selling at RM 3.50. Now, it is sold at RM 4! That's a 14% increase!
Previously, my mixed/economy rice was average RM 3.30. Now that fella charges me RM 3.60. That's almost 10% increase!
Previously one plate of carbonara that i used to eat was RM 9.90. Now it is RM 12.90! That's an enormous 30% increase!
So just simple calculations on our daily simply things can tell us the inflation rate. There was a report showing that the actual inflation rate of our country is actually 15%.
But why did our government say that our inflation rate is 3%? One reason is our FDI's are decreasing. They want more foreign investors, and also domestic investors to come in.
Wait until these FDI's find out that our inflation rate is actually around 14%, then kantoi lah our government!

Petrol Craze
Thank God i'm driving a diesel car. I got to pump my diesel in less than 30 minutes!
The petrol price has been increased. Increased greatly!
To consumers, this is something bad. Living cost is now higher, while salaries and pays are still the same.
However, i think it's fair that the government reduced the subsidies of petrol. The government has incurred billions and billions of ringgit on petrol subsidies. If they didn't reduce it, the cost might go up to almost RM 60 billion!
I think we as Malaysian citizens should put our feet in the government's shoes. If Malaysia keeps giving so much subsidies, sooner or later we're going to be like the America. Debts will be piling up.
Therefore, in my opinion, the action taken by the government is somewhat reasonable. We have the responsibility to help ease the financial cashflow of our country. Oil price of USD 128 is crazy! How in the world is our country going to survive for the long run.
So stop complaining! Dont' just think of yourselves. Think for your country!
But...at least put RM 2.50 also nevermind la.
