Tribute to the Living Legends

I want to take this time to pay tribute to some of the legends that i grew up watching. These are the people that have made it big in their different arenas. These are the people that have brought something really special, to a certain extent, no one else can bring, no one else can compare.

I grew up watching them.

1) Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player ever in the history of mankind. Even until now nobody can be compared to this all-rounder in basketball. You name it: defence, offence, skills, styles, personality, he has it all. The one that i watched the most when i was growing up. Michael Jordan, nobody like him!

Love the way he dunked in the Slam-Dunk Championship. His-Airness, Air Jordan!!

He has won 6 NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls, of which he also won 6 MVP's, Most Valuable Player Award.

This is one man that i would clone, if i'm able to. Wonder why David Beckham wears number 23 jersey? This is the answer.

2) Finally, The Rock , has come back, to Thoughts N Feelings!! This is a legend in the history of wrestling. This guy is one heck of an entertainer. No doubt he is the most electrifying man in sports and entertainment. The Rock, The Great One, People's Champ, Brahma Bull, plus he was the youngest wrestler to ever win the WWF Championship.

Everytime when his music turns on, you can't help but to get goosebumps. Everytime when he speaks, no doubt you'll laugh till your jaw drops! Salute this Great One. He recently made it into the World Wrestling Hall of Fame in March 2008.

If you smellllllalalalalalalalalalalauuu, what The Rock, is cooking!!!

3) Eric Cantona, was also someone that i watched a lot when i was young. Oh well, although he was a Man Utd player (booooo), but he was really great. One of the top scorers of Man Utd, he could dribble the ball so easily and so comfortably in the penalty box as though there was no defender.

Although i am no Man Utd fan, but when i was young i used to love watching this guy play. He is one of the greats.

In Sg. Wang there's this shop called Cantona 7. Not sure if it's still there. They tailor-make clothes and pants. Cantona 7.

4) Tun Dr. Mahathir, one of Malaysia's greatest history makers. Called the "Bapa Pembangunan", Father of Development, he has turned a "Malaysia-who?", to a country that is well-known to corners of this world.

The one who saw Malaysia as a developed country by year 2020, he opened the path for us to march into that vision.

Hidup Dr. Mahathir!!

These are the people that i grew up watching. The legends of their own arenas. Today i remember them and pay tribute for what they have brought to their own arenas. They are the ones that i wish they could come back to their own arenas again.

The living legends!!
